World Famous Rodeo & Chuckwagon Races
The rodeo happens daily at 130pm and the Chucks every night at 7:45pm.
There are 6 rugged events this year, including: Barrel Racing, Bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc and bareback. 10 days of action – 1.5 million in prizes. There is something for everyone at the Rodeo!
Calgary Stampede Midway
What do we love most about the Calgary Stampede Midway? The INSANE snacks. The AWESOME rides (The 150 foot high Superwheel is BACK). The Grandstand Show and other AMAZING entertainment. And you might even see some of our awesome décor. We are an official supplier of the Calgary Stampede, and you might just see our fire-retardant straw bales while strolling through the midway. Did you know that 1,384,632 people attended the Calgary Stampede in 2023. That averaged about 150k PER DAY! Wow! Let’s beat that record this year Calgary!! Who’s going?!?!
Miranda! The amazingly talented singer, songwriter and guitarist will be hitting Calgary like the thunder Friday July 12th! A triple Grammy winner!! Can’t wait to see this one!
Metal heads unite! Since 1981 these dudes have been living fast and hard and winning dozens of awards. This is there first major tour in 7 years so go now and get your tickets. It will be a good one.
The City of Calgary
What does the Calgary Stampede do for the City of Calgary? Endless laughs and memories. Too many beverages and pancakes. New boots and jeans. One of the worlds largest Rodeos. New experiences and food. Amazing Concerts and stage shows. A parade with 300K spectators. Thousands of volunteers. New friends from far and wide…Oh and also it brings over $540 Million to our province, with over half of that staying right in our city. It brings us together. It unites us as Calgarians. We are The Stampede City!
Pancakes!!!
One of the absolute highlights of the Calgary Stampede is the FREE Pancake Breakfasts. There are DOZENS of totally free pancake breakfasts put on daily by the incredible people and businesses of Calgary. Did you know that the Calgary Stampede set a Guiness Book of World Records in 2023 flipping and serving 17,182 steaming hot pancakes on July 9th last year within an 8-hour period?!?!
